Tiger Spirit

Happy Halloween from the BI Media Girls!
Pac-Man & Pinky

How do you show your school spirit on Halloween? You dress up for the staff costume contest! We decided to celebrate our 1980’s past with a little video game favorite theme. We may not win, but it sure was fun to make and wear these!

Looking Good

The chalkboard in our e-book reading section of the media center is very popular with our students. With some visitors coming Monday from Apple and around the state, we decided we needed to create a nice welcoming display in this area. One of our fabulous art teachers spent about an hour creating this for us. Isn’t she talented?

Teen Read Week Wednesday Update

So far we have only circulated 383 items for Teen Read Week, so we will have to work hard today and tomorrow to ensure we reach our goal of 1200 items before Friday. Tell everyone you know to come and see us in the media center this week! We had our first individual prize winner yesterday afternoon as well. She found one of our surprises in the book she was reading and got to choose a prize this morning. Don’t forget, we will also celebrate our top reading patrons at the end of the week with a Wii game competition.
